Altai Tavan Bogd National Park

Eagle Hunting Festival

Taking place in early October, this festival showcases the Kazakh tradition of eagle hunting. Over these two days, you will also see Kazakh cultural games, such as Kokpar, Kiz Kuar, Tenge ilu, horse and camel racing. This truly is a one-of-a kind festival found only in Bayan-Olgii and western Mongolia.
